USDA Certified Organic

Our bulk herbs are all USDA certified organic.

Our Chinese/TCM herbal products are mostly sourced from Taiwan & China and are not certified organic. We do heavy metal testing on all of our Chinese herbal products.

 

Moisture Testing

Our bulk herbs and Chinese herbal formulas are moisture tested before arriving at our packaging facility to make sure they have a moisture reading of 12% or less to ensure an item is not prone to mold, fungus, or bacterial outbreaks.

 

Microbial Testing

Even before arriving at our packaging facility, our products are always tested for total aerobic bacteria, yeast and mold count, coliform count, e. coli and salmonella. Our guidelines for safe levels of microbial contaminants adhere to the ones set forth by the American Herbal Products Association (AHPA).

 

Heavy Metal Testing

Heavy metals such as lead, mercury, arsenic, and cadmium are often naturally occurring. Nevertheless, certain bulk herbs that may be prone to higher levels of heavy metals are often tested for heavy metals to be sure the levels are safe to consume.

All of our Chinese herbal formulas are periodically third party tested for heavy metals and adhere to the guidelines set forth by the American Herbal Products Association (AHPA) for safe levels of lead, mercury, arsenic, and cadmium.

Our products are packaged in an FDA registered, organic certified, GMP & HACCP compliant facility in California.
